The ideal candidate will spearhead the scoping, forecasting, positioning, messaging and go-to-market of all solutions for the government market, and will be the key source of product roadmap input/feedback for all solutions in the government market.

The Solutions Manager, Government is the internal subject matter expert (SME) for the US government market, spanning federal, state and local government challenges with international government experience a welcome bonus. The SME will have an intimate understanding of the information management challenges faced by and unique to the government market, including those related to email archiving, records management, information governance, eDiscovery, regulatory compliance, collaboration, knowledge management and document management.

Specifically the candidate will have experience of implementing solutions to help government organizations deal with: • Operational risk inherent in unmanaged and unstructured information • Litigation readiness through proactive information governance • eDiscovery as a core business process • Data growth and its impact on records management, information security and storage

This highly visible role will evangelize internally and externally and will provide thought leadership via blog posts, articles, presentations, solution briefs, sales support, white papers, and other collateral. The Solutions Manager, Government will deliver highly compelling presentations and training to internal teams regarding Recommind solutions to meet government business challenges.

Requirements • 5-7 years in-depth experience working in a technical position within an government organization, large technology vendor and/or consulting firm environment focused on the government vertical • Deep knowledge of the government market and all aspects of information lifecycle within government companies, from a technical and business perspective • Ability to clearly understand government customer issues and communicate technical solutions to them within Recommind and to prospects • Sufficient technical acumen to be able to translate government customer needs into products and product roadmap deliverables for product management and engineering • Strong writing skills and ability to speak within and on behalf of Recommind in front of executives and customers and at industry events, seminars and webinars • BA or BS required; MBA a plus
