Father, We thank you for bringing us together tonight to learn more about your ways.<BR>
As you welcome each one of us, Grant us the grace to open our hearts and our minds, so that we may become closer to  you. <br>
You have called us as your own in Baptism, and <br>
you have gathered us here this day to understand more deeply the mystery of your love for us.<br>
We ask for your help to overcome our shyness and fears of meeting new people. <br>
We ask for your guidance, and your blessings, as we begin this new year of classes. <br>
Show us how to gather in your name, so that we might worship you in spirit and in truth.  <br>
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen
